SENSITIZE. EDUCATE. EMPOWER.

Working towards expanding access to HIV and RH Services and sustainable livelihoods among People Living with HIV, Orphans, Caregivers and Vulnerable Children in Uganda and beyond.

SCROLL DOWN

Support us to create a world free from HIV.

Comprehensive correct knowledge of HIV is still below 60% among the 15-24 Adolesvcent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) in East and Southern Africa (UNICEF 2021). Our emphasis is on weekly and monthly community outreaches that are regularly collaborative with other stakeholders and specialized service providers such as AIDS Information Centre (AIC).
Our primary aim is s to mobilize the target groups, sensitize them and create agency and demand for Voluntary HIV counselling and testing (VHCT) services.

Fighting absolute poverty

Absolute poverty often leads people especially young girls into prostitution, multi sexual partners ,and early send off of young girls into marriages, which as an organization we saw as something to deal with in order to control the spread.

Combating Ignorance

We found out that most rural people didn’t know how HIV is acquired or how it spreads. We therefore sensitize them on different ways of preventing HIV and its related infections.

Enabling access to health facilities

Most don’t have access to government facilities ,since these drugs are dispensed by government or big, organizations like TASO. Others travel long distances on foot, some facilities don’t have drugs. We are engaging stakeholders on this.
